Privacy Policy

Effective August 3, 2026

Who we are

Alotheya is operated by 3vedi Insights LLC, a California limited liability company. In this policy, "Alotheya," "we," "us," and "our" mean 3vedi Insights LLC.

You can reach us at alotheya@gmail.com or through the Contact page on this site.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to this website, to Litmus, and to Theya, our AI guide.

Our services are offered to residents of the United States only. We do not direct our services to people outside the United States.

You must be 18 or older to create an account or make a purchase.

The short version

  • We collect what you give us and a small amount of standard website data. Nothing more.

  • We do not sell your information. We never have, and we do not share it for advertising.

  • We are not a HIPAA covered entity, and we do not claim to be. We hold your information to a high standard anyway, and this policy explains exactly how.

  • We do not currently collect genetic or genomic information. When we do, it will be optional, it will require your separate explicit consent, and we will update this policy first.

  • You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do it within 30 days.

  • Theya is an AI guide, not a clinician. Nothing she says is medical advice.

The rest of this policy is the detail behind those points.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.

  • Purchase information. Your name, email address, and billing details when you buy something. Payments are processed by Wix. We never receive or store your full card number.

  • Messages you send us. Anything you write in our contact form, including your name and email.

  • Newsletter signup. Your email address, and your name if you give it.

  • Booking information. Your name, email address, scheduling details, and anything you write in a booking form when you schedule a session with us.

  • Conversations with Theya. Whatever you choose to type. This is covered in more detail in the health information section below.

  • Sessions. If you book a session, what you say during it. A session is transcribed only if you agree to it at the time.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard website data such as browser type, device type, IP address, the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site, and approximate location based on your IP address.

  • Cookies and similar technologies, subject to the consent choices you make in our cookie banner.

What we do not collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or financial account numbers. We do not buy personal information from data brokers or obtain it from other companies.

How we use your information

  • To provide the site, Litmus, and Theya, and to answer your questions

  • To process purchases and provide customer support

  • To schedule and hold sessions you book

  • To send you email you have asked for, and to let you unsubscribe from it

  • To improve our content and our product

  • To keep the site secure and working

  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We use conversation data and session content only to improve our own product and the experience we provide to our own customers. We do not use it for external research. We do not sell it, license it, or make it available to anyone for research purposes. When we use it for product improvement, we work with it in de-identified form wherever possible.

Health information you share with Theya

Because of what Alotheya is about, people tell Theya things that count as health information. We want to be direct about how that works.

What this includes. Diagnoses, symptoms, medications, past experiences with clinicians, family history, neurodivergence, and anything else you choose to describe.

Where it comes from. You, directly. We do not obtain health information about you from any other source. We do not buy it, and we do not receive it from other companies, apps, or health providers.

Why we collect it. So Theya can answer the question you actually asked rather than a generic version of it, and so we can improve our content and our product.

Who we share it with. Only the service providers who make Theya work: Chatbase, which operates the chat system, and the underlying AI model provider that generates the response. Both are listed in the sharing section below. Nobody else. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never disclosed to insurers, employers, or advertisers.

You control how much you share. Theya does not require any personal information to be useful. You can ask questions without identifying yourself or anyone else.

Anonymous conversations. When you use Theya on our public pages without an account, the conversation is not linked to your identity. That protects your privacy, but it also has a real limitation: because we cannot connect that conversation to you, we cannot find it later to delete it individually. Anonymous conversations are deleted as part of our scheduled deletion cycle described in the retention section.

Withdrawing consent. You can stop sharing at any time by ending the conversation. To have information you have shared through an account deleted, email us at alotheya@gmail.com or use the Contact page.

Theya is not a clinician. She is an AI guide. She does not diagnose, does not give medical advice, and is not a substitute for evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider.

Information about children

You must be 18 or older to create an account or purchase from us. We do not collect information directly from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to hold an account.

Many of the people we serve are parents. If you are a parent or legal guardian, you may choose to describe your child's situation while using Theya or while working with us. Here is how we handle that.

  • Theya will not ask for identifying details about your child. She will not ask for a name, birthdate, address, school, photograph, or contact information.

  • You may share your child's first name if you want the conversation to feel natural, and Theya may use it while you talk. We ask that you not share your child's full name, birthdate, home address, school, photographs, or contact information. Theya does not need them.

  • Information you share about your child is protected exactly like your own. Same handling, same retention period, same security, same deletion rights.

  • You can have it deleted. Email us and we will remove it within 30 days.

  • By sharing information about your child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you have the authority to do so.

  • We do not accept genetic or genomic information about minors. This is not something we plan to change in the near term, and we will update this policy if we ever do.

Genetic and genomic information

We do not currently collect genetic or genomic information. There is no way to upload a genetic file to us today, and we do not receive genetic data from testing companies or anyone else.

We expect to offer this in the future. Because it is the most sensitive category of information we could ever hold, we are stating our commitments now, before we build it:

  • It will always be optional. You will never need to provide genetic data to use anything else we offer.

  • It will require your separate, explicit consent at the point you provide it, for each specific purpose. It will not be bundled into a general agreement.

  • It will never be sold, licensed, or shared for advertising.

  • It will never be disclosed to insurers or employers, and we will not disclose it to law enforcement absent a valid, legally binding order that we are required to comply with.

  • You will be able to delete it, and deletion will mean deletion.

  • We will update this policy and give you notice before any of this begins. You will not wake up one day to find that we have quietly started collecting genetic data.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that operate our business, and only to the extent they need it. They are:

  • Wix. Website hosting, member accounts, checkout and payment processing, contact forms, email marketing, and bookings.

  • Chatbase. Operates Theya, including chat transcripts.

  • AI model providers. Generate Theya's responses. Chatbase routes conversations to an underlying model provider, currently one or more of OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. We may change which one we use.

  • Google Analytics. Website traffic analytics, subject to your cookie consent.

  • Google Workspace. Our email, and storage of session transcripts where you have agreed to them.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, a subpoena, or a court order, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect someone's safety.

If Alotheya is ever acquired or merged into another company, information may transfer as part of that transaction. If that happens, the information stays subject to this policy unless and until you are given notice of a change and an opportunity to delete your information.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is the practice of passing information about you to advertising platforms so they can target you elsewhere. We have never done either.

If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out before the change takes effect.

Cookies, analytics, and Do Not Track

We use cookies for essential site functions, and for analytics if you consent. Our cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

Google Analytics is used to understand how people find and use the site. It is loaded only if you consent to analytics cookies.

Do Not Track. There is currently no common industry standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track browser signals, and we do not respond to them at this time. You can control tracking on our site through the cookie banner.

How long we keep information

  • Conversations with Theya. Up to 36 months.

  • Session transcripts, where you agreed to them. Up to 36 months.

  • De-identified insights drawn from conversations. Indefinitely.

  • Account information. For as long as your account is active, plus 12 months.

  • Purchase and payment records. 7 years, for tax and accounting purposes.

  • Contact form submissions. Up to 24 months.

  • Newsletter subscription. Until you unsubscribe. We keep a minimal record of your unsubscribe so we do not add you back.

An honest note about how deletion works. The tools we use do not automatically delete data when a retention period ends. We delete on a scheduled basis instead. This means information may remain on our providers' systems until the next scheduled deletion, which is why the periods above say "up to." Deletion requests from you are handled individually and within 30 days, separate from that schedule.

De-identified insights means things like patterns in what people ask about, with any information that could identify a person removed. We keep these because they are how we improve the product. They cannot be traced back to you.

Your choices and your rights

Some states give residents specific privacy rights. We extend the following rights to everyone who uses Alotheya, regardless of where you live.

  • Access. Ask what information we hold about you.

  • Correction. Ask us to fix information that is wrong.

  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your information.

  • A copy. Ask for a copy of the information you have given us.

  • Withdraw consent. Withdraw consent for anything you previously agreed to, including session transcription and health information you have shared.

  • Opt out of marketing. Unsubscribe from any email, using the link in the email or by contacting us.

  • Opt out of analytics. Decline analytics cookies in our cookie banner.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Your access to our products and the price you pay will not change.

Two honest limits. We cannot delete anonymous conversations that are not linked to your identity, because we cannot find them. And we cannot delete purchase and payment records that we are legally required to keep for tax purposes, though we can delete everything else associated with them.

How to make a request

Email alotheya@gmail.com or use the Contact page on this site.

We will respond within 30 days. We may need to ask you for information to confirm your identity before acting on a request, particularly a deletion request, so that we do not delete someone's data at the wrong person's request.

If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may ask us to reconsider by replying to us directly. You may also contact your state's Attorney General.

Security

We use the security provided by our service providers, along with access controls, two-factor authentication on our accounts, and strict limits on who can see your information. Today that is a very small number of people, and access is limited to what is needed to run the business and support you.

No system is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law and tell you what happened.

About Theya and AI

Theya is an AI guide. Your conversations are processed by Chatbase and by an underlying AI model provider in order to generate responses.

We have turned off the setting that would allow your conversations to be used to improve the AI systems we use. We select providers whose business terms state that data submitted through their business interfaces is not used to train their models.

Theya does not diagnose, does not provide medical advice, and is not a replacement for a licensed healthcare provider. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more on this.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as our products change. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.

If we make a change that materially affects how we handle your information, including anything involving genetic data, we will notify account holders and newsletter subscribers by email and post a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
